The unique positioning of the speaker facing the inside of the housing allows for high pressure washing or steam cleaning without risk of speaker damage. In addition it offers no place for fine dust to build up and reduce the alarms efficiency. Epoxy encapsulated circuit boards offer further protection from dust, moisture and vibration.

AMECA Certification

Many of ECCO’s alarms are now independently certified by AMECA to meet SAE J994 requirements, ensuring our alarms meet customer’s highest quality expectations. Our Engineering Test Lab is certified by the Automotive Manufacturers Equipment Compliance Agency (AMECA) to perform testing as per the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) requirements. ECCO test reports are reviewed by AMECA and Notice of Equipment Compliances are issued. These are denoted here as AMECA certified and indicated on the SAE Indicator shown with each alarm.
